A fabulous mulit-purpose credenza, circa 1975. Expertly crafted mahogany case construction veneered in diagonally applied Bamboo. The case is mounted atop a heavy stainless steel base finished in mirror chrome. Simple flat chrome pulls mark the drawers and doors. The chest has a beautifully finished back, allowing the piece to stand freely in a room. While unmarked, the design and construction quality is consistent with the Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin production of the mid-1970s. Aged to absolute perfection. A slick organic focal point designed to anchor an important space. Excellent restored condition. Professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The bamboo demonstrates a beautiful range of color; lacquer finish with tremendous depth and sheen. All bamboo veneer is intact and complete. The chrome base has been professionally polished and shows little signs of age. The chest is completely installation ready.
