An unforgettable pair of large-scale Organic Modern Grasshopper style club chairs by Steven Volpe for McGuire. Heavy, masterfully conceived solid oak frame finished in a walnut stain. The chair back is finished in natural cane with stunning texture and highlights. These stellar examples were custom order. These unique frames were acquired from Baker/McGuire in a raw unfinished state and have been meticulously professionally restored in the Tom Robinson Modern facility. Arm height is 25.5 inches. Seat platform height is 13.5 inches. Seat height listed is per the installed seat cushion. EXCELLENT RESTORED CONDITION. Meticulous complete professional restoration. The oak demonstrates fabulous graining; lacquer finish with beautiful depth and sheen. ALL cane details are intact and complete. NEW expert custom upholstery in a neutral Larsen fabric.
