A stunning and seldom found pair of hand-painted lamps by Ugo Zaccagnini for Marbro, circa 1955. Beautiful large-scale crackle glaze form with fabulous vibrant hand-painted horse motifs. Exquisite pieces specifically designed to highlight an important space. The pair are shipped completely installation ready. Excellent Restored Condition. Rewired using clear cord; new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new silk shades (color: Sand; size: 17 x 18 x 12 inches high) and custom stone and brass finials. The original two-step brass bases have been professionally polished and display wonderful patina. The bottom of the ceramic vessels (visible when disassembled) are signed: ITALY and Marbro Lamp Co. The width and depth noted are per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
