An exceptional pair of ceramic bow lamps with gold leaf highlights, circa 1940s. The pieces show no visible Maker’s mark and research uncovers no examples that are even remotely similar to this particular production. Highly dramatic with an almost Brutalist vibe. Acquired at separate times, the pieces have slightly different bases (one wood, one brass). Beautifully made pieces. Fabulous jewelry! Excellent Restored condition. Rewired using silk cord, new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new silk shades (color: Natural silk; size: 18 inches x 22 inches x 14 inches high) and solid bronze ball finials. The height noted is to the top of the finial.
