A beautifully conceived pair of large-scale vintage modern lamps, circa 1960. Pierced cylinder form constructed from individual pieces of solid Walnut with Dowel joints. Solid brass accents. Fabulous detail and craftsmanship. Dramatic jewelry! Excellent restored condition. Rewired using clear cord; new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new Spanish parchment shades (size: 11′ x 20″ x 13″ high) and solid brass ball finials. The Walnut has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered and displays wonderful sheen, color and depth. The brass has been professionally polished and demonstrates lovely patina. While there is no maker mark, the wood bases are stamped “ITALY.” The diameter noted is per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
