An incredibly rare set of eight (8) dining chairs from the Tomlinson “Sophisticate” line, dated 1958. The set consists of six side and two host chairs. Examples from this low production series are rarely available for sale. Exceptional beech construction with woven leather straps. Exquisite design, quality and craftsmanship. An amazing find! Excellent restored condition. The frames have been professionally cleaned and polished and display a rich luster and patina. The original leather has been professionally cleaned and conditioned- it is supple and suitable for heavy regular use. The arm height of the two host chairs is 25.5″. The price listed is for the set. Retains the Maker mark.
