Exceptional meticulously restored examples from a coveted series of modern dining chairs from the boutique New World collection designed by Michael Taylor for Baker Furniture, circa 1960. There are two (2) host and six (6) side chairs. Expertly crafted solid cherry frame with an exquisite delicate cane back detail. Strikingly finished in black lacquer. This particular series is one of the most coveted of Mr. Taylor’s seating designs. Important chairs specifically designed to anchor a serious dining room. Excellent restored condition. The frames have been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. New cane panel backs. Expert custom upholstery in a neutral Romo fabric. The Host chairs measure: 22 W x 23 D x 33.25 H (back), 24.5 arm.
