An elegant and rare three-drawer Modern chest (series number 1110) by Widdicomb, circa 1938. Stout mahogany construction with exquisite case and foot detail. Fabulous solid brass hardware accent the drawers. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful designs in the Widdicomb archive. Sublime jewelry! Excellent restored condition. The chest has been meticulously restored in cream lacquer; the hardware has been hand polished and displays beautiful patina. Retains the Maker mark. There are two (2) of these chests available.
