An beautiful modern multipurpose cabinet by John Widdicomb, circa 1960. A stout and expertly made piece with sublime bookmatched black walnut veneer and lovely solid brass hardware. A functional piece that may be utilized as a chest or a buffet/server. Excellent restored condition. The cabinet has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The finish demonstrates a rich sheen and depth. Retains the maker mark.
