An exceptional vintage Parsons style extension dining table, circa 1970. Stout, expertly made hardwood construction with lovely detail. Slender table depth allows for intimate dining conversation. Lacquered oil drop technique creates the look of tortoise shell. In its reduced form, the piece may serve as a stunning writing desk. While unmarked, the table is consistent with the Henredon production of the 1970s. Exquisite jewelry! Excellent restored condition. The table has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The finish displays a fabulous sheen and depth. The table measures 62″ long in its reduced state and comes complete with two (2) 19″ wide leaves. Measurements noted are per the table fully extended.
