An exceptional custom made chest, circa 1970. Heavy solid mahogany case and drawers, painstakingly veneered in individual pieces of bamboo. The case is mounted atop simple feet finished in black lacquer. The drawer fronts are set against case insets finished in espresso lacquer. Aged to absolute perfection. Craftsmanship that is beyond incredible. An exquisite piece of organic texture designed to anchor an important space. Excellent restored condition. The chest has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the finish displays a rich depth and luster. The bamboo demonstrates a wonderful range of color. All bamboo veneer is intact and complete.
