An exquisite meticulously restored vintage two-drawer commode, circa 1955. Stout, exceptionally crafted solid hardwood case construction atop a simple rattan base. The case is veneered in cane with a finished back. The drawers are marked with fabulous solid brass strap hardware. Stellar design and quality. The unmistakable look of old money. This rare example is from the coveted Pavilion collection produced by Willow and Reed. This boutique series was designed by the esteemed Tommi Parzinger and introduced in 1955. An important focal point designed to anchor an important space. Excellent restored condition. The piece has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered.
