A stunning pair of handmade vintage bamboo lamps, circa 1970. Mahogany structure painstakingly veneered in diagonally applied pieces of bamboo. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Exquisite organic jewelry designed to highlight a special room. Excellent Restored Condition. The bamboo has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered; the finish demonstrates a beautiful tone, depth and sheen. Rewired using clear cord; new 3-way polished nickel sockets with nickel turn switch. New custom two-step base comprised of polished nickel and museum quality Lucite. Complete with new silk shades (color: Egg; size: 12″ x 18″ x 12″ high) and custom-made petal and ball finials in nickel and brass. The width and depth noted are per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair.
