A stunning set of eight (8) Danish style dining chairs by John Keal for Brown Saltman, circa 1955. There are two (2) host and six (6) side chairs. Stout, stylish cerused mahogany frame with beautiful lines. Exceptional craftsmanship. Expert custom upholstery in a fine neutral textured Romo fabric. The fabulous back cushion detail is lovingly borrowed from the Jens Risom loungers of the 1940s and 1950s. Extremely comfortable and ready to enjoy. Rare seating examples intended to anchor a serious dining room. Excellent Restored Condition. The frames have been professionally cleaned and polished; the finish demonstrates a wonderful tone, depth and luster. Expertly upholstered in a fine neutral ROMO fabric.
