An off-the-chain pair of porcelain lamps by The Marbro Lamp Company, circa 1960. For several decades, the Markoff brothers operated a boutique firm that produced some of the finest and most decorative lamps of the era. These particular examples display beautiful scale and form with fabulous coloring in Hermes orange and soft coral. Stunning bird and leaf motifs executed in a crackled gold. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. As stunning as anything you are likely to see – Exquisite jewelry! Excellent Restored Condition. Rewired using clear cord; new brass three-way sockets with brass turn switch. Complete with new silk shades (color: Egg; size: 17 x 18 x 12 inches high) and custom solid brass leaf finials. Original brass base with lovey patina. Diameter noted is per the base, the height noted is to the top of the finial. The price listed is for the pair. The original socket (since replaced) bore the label Marbro Lamp Company.
