An incredibly rare pair of restored lounge or club chairs by the Great Henry Olko for his Willow and Reed firm, 1978. These stunning examples are from Olko’s boutique “Rib” series. Expertly crafted Rattan construction with a magnificent architectural Silhouette. This particular seating series displays all of the design characteristics that make this gifted Artist’s work so memorable and special. An accomplished formally trained architect with a Master’s degree from MIT, Mr. Olko was never satisfied with the ordinary; he routinely reached to achieve the spectacular.
