A stunning restored example from a difficult to find series by McGuire, circa 1970. Sleek, expertly crafted oak case construction with side mounted rattan legs detailed in the iconic firm rawhide. Lovely French cane side accent panels. Fabulous heavy solid brass hardware mark the drawers. An exquisite piece designed to anchor an important space. Excellent Restored Condition. The chest has been professionally cleaned and re-lacquered. The oak projects a rich warmth with wonderful grain movement. Lacquer finish with exceptional depth and sheen. The solid brass hardware has been professionally polished and displays beautiful patina. All rawhide and cane accents are intact and complete. There are a pair of these chests available.
